2. 형용사

종류

• 일반형용사 : beautiful
• 분사 : flying, fried
• 분사형 형용사 : talented
• 전치사구 : on the stage
• To부정사 : to arrive soon

 

- 형용사의 위치

• 2형식 : S + V + 형용사
• 5형식 : S+ V + O + 형용사

 

- 형용사와 명사가 동시에 가능한 단어

• Alternative, objective, adhesive, manual

 

- 형용사처럼 생겼지만 명사인 단어

• Incentive, initiative, perspective, additive,directive, proposal, approval, appraisal, renewal, refusal, denial, journal, peripheral, survival

 

- 명사와 ly과 합치면 형용사이다

• ex) timely, costly, orderly...

 

- 사람을 수식하는 형용사

• understanding, willing, eager, observant, intelligent, persistent...

 

- 사물을 수식하는 형용사

• understandable, considerable, observable, intelligible..
